Hi, I’m Loshi!
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist originally from Minnesota, here to help you feel better in your body and confident in your habits—without the extremes.
Think of me as your fitness-savvy, culturally-aware family member who just gets it and helps you figure things out with care and real-life strategies.
My Journey
As a Hmong American, I understand the deep ties between food, culture, and identity. I grew up surrounded by large community gatherings and shared meals—food meant connection, love, respect, and so much more. But like many, I struggled to find balance. I started gaining weight, became insecure about my body, and dove into health and fitness with an all-or-nothing mindset.
Obsessed with calorie counting and low-carb diets, I dismissed the very foods that once brought me joy—including my cultural staples. But restriction only made me crave them more, and the cycle continued.
Eventually, I burned out. I felt disconnected from my body, my culture, and the joy of movement. That turning point led me to rebuild my habits from the ground up—bringing back the foods I loved, re-learning how to move for joy (not punishment), and focusing on what health truly feels like, not just what it looks like.
That journey inspired me to become a dietitian. Today, I help others break free from diet extremes, tune out toxic wellness advice, and build sustainable habits that support their real lives. I believe nutrition should feel doable, empowering, and rooted in compassion—and I’d love to help you find your version of balance too.
